Welcome to the Coast Meridian Family Daycare. My name is Chaitana, I am the owner and childcare provider at the Coast Meridian Family Daycare. I operate a Licensed Family Daycare in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia. Offering childcare services to children 12 months to 5 years. I am CPR & First Aid certified and attend workshops and training classes
regularly to further develope my knowledge and skills. My daycare program offers planned Preschool activities, Field trips, Parent trips and much more.
I provide a warm, safe, stimulating atmosphere where self confidence is encouraged and an interest in learning is promoted through play. I maintain a low ratio of children allowing for individual attention to be given to each child.
The daycare is a large bright indoor play area, Full kitchen, food preparation and eating area is within this space. The home is located in a quiet street with no through traffic. Indoor Waiting Area, Snack and Meal Area, Nap and Quiet Room, Reading Room, Onsite Outdoor Play Area fully fenced in.
Mission Statement:
Each child is a unique individual and I offer daily activities which meet each child's needs on a social, emotional, physical and intellectual level. Social skills are learned through routine and structure which helps to develop a child's confidence, self esteem. Creativity and imagination are encourages along with respect for others.
